THE SIRE: ZA 20 GRAH 257 is a Webber cock recorded as a very good racer on the North Route. The sire is bred from ZA 15 NRHU 1638, recorded as Puttery, and ZA 14 BDR 7555, a De Zutter hen. The latter is bred from “Jonge Daniel”, a club, combine and union winner, and “Hilda”, a full sister to “Het Centjie”.

THE DAM: GHT 1066 is recorded as Benn/Webber and is a daughter of ZA 22 GHTD 145 and ZA 19 GRAH 719, the “CRADOCK HEN”. “145” bred the winner of Fish River Loft Hotspot 5 over 755 km and a 3rd-place final pigeon over 856 km, both described as very tough overnight races. “145” is bred from “SON BEN HUR” and “EDEN SISTER”, a full sister to “Eden”, which finished 2nd in the Victoria Falls final in 2019.

The “CRADOCK HEN” finished 2nd in the 820 km Karoo Million final in 2020, having landed first but trapped only after the second pigeon arrived. The hen is bred from “TOPPER” and “BLACK BEAUTY”, combining De Zutter and Benn ancestry.
